I am looking forward to another exciting, challenging, and successful year!! My class motto is to ask questions when a question is still “Hot.” I will always make myself available to answer students’ question outside of the class for example, at lunch time, during advisement (please get permission from the advisement teacher), my conference time and after school. So please encourage your child to see me before they get behind if they have any questions at all.
I am originally from Tokyo, Japan. I came to the United States to pursue a graduate degree in Economics. My BA was in History. After working as a Senior Economist in a corporate environment for 15 years, I decided to return to school (CSULB) to obtain my teaching credentials to fulfill the dream of teaching that I once had. I am now a single subject teacher for secondary education with full credentials in Mathematics, Social Science, Business, Japanese with bilingual authorization, History and Economics, and I am tremendously enjoying teaching and helping students.
To me, education is a coordinated effort among students, teachers, parents and the school supporting staff. My goal is to make communications among us as smooth and comfortable as possible to maximize each student’s learning potential every day.
So please read our Student-Parent Information sheet carefully and let me know if you have any questions.
In addition, if you have any other questions, concerns or suggestions, please do let me know. My door is always open and I check e-mail regularly
Thank you in advance for your support
